Jordanian Banks in a Hundred Years of the State's Journey

البنوكIn conjunction with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's celebrations of the first centennial of the state's establishment, the Royal Jordanian Hashemite Documentation Center issued a book titled "Jordanian Banks in a Hundred Years of the State's Journey". This study comprises four chapters, where the first chapter deals with the historical development of economic systems and the emergence of banks in their modern form. The second chapter addresses the economic conditions in Jordan and the emergence and introduction of Jordanian banks. The third chapter is dedicated to the Central Bank and the coronavirus pandemic, and the banking sector's response to it. The last chapter includes a large collection of appendices that illustrate the legal and legislative frameworks of Jordanian banks.

The publications from the Hashemite Documentation Center are not translated into English. Institutions and publishing houses interested in publishing a translated version should contact the center at the following email address: Info@rhdc.jo. This offers an opportunity for broader access to these valuable historical resources for non-Arabic speaking audiences and researchers.
