One of the blessings of God Almighty upon us is that He has enabled us to fulfill the desire of His Hashemite Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, may God protect and preserve him, to establish the Royal Hashemite Jordanian Documentation Center. This center is devoted to preserving the national and historical memory of the Prophet’s family in general, and the Hashemite documents in particular, as well as their history and the history of the countries they had the honor of serving and serving their peoples, especially Jordan. It also undertakes research and a study connected to this matter, authenticates manuscripts related to their biographies and the biographies of their men, and publishes the personal memoirs of those who contributed to this history or witnessed its events. Furthermore, the center cares for the noble lineage and all those who belong to it — preserving it, documenting it, protecting it, and establishing it firmly.

By God’s grace, we have been enabled to preserve thousands of documents related to this matter according to the most advanced scientific methods. We have also issued a number of studies, researches, and investigations that serve the objectives of this venerable center. The center also seeks serious scientific cooperation with Arab and international research institutions and centers that pursue similar goals, to exchange expertise with them, and to hold seminars and conferences that deepen the bonds of cooperation in order to carry out the tasks entrusted to it.
